One webcam. Six ways to learn with your hands.

Everything on this page is a real screen recording of M2 running in a browser on an ordinary laptop. The holograms are rendered live, not added in editing. Scroll, and each one plays behind its story.

01 / 06Start · ~10 seconds

First, it learns your hands.

Before you touch anything, M2 tunes itself to your hands, your camera and your lighting. It takes about ten seconds.

The process

  1. Open your palms. M2 finds both hands and measures them.
  2. Pinch. It learns what your pinch looks like, so a grab is always a grab.
  3. Make a fist. The last check, and the lab opens.

02 / 06Geometry

Draw a shape with your fingers. Then hold it.

Shapes come out of your own gestures, and they behave like objects: they have size, weight and momentum.

The process

  1. Frame it. Make a frame with your fingers and a cube appears inside it.
  2. Grab and stretch. Pinch to hold it, spread your fingers to make it bigger.
  3. Play with physics. Pass it from hand to hand, drop it, throw it.

Pull a jet engine apart. Then put it back.

A turbofan built from its real components: fan, compressor, combustion chamber, turbine and nozzle.

The process

  1. Pull with both hands. The engine comes apart into its parts, in order.
  2. Pick a part. Pinch it, then stretch with the other hand to open it full screen. In the video: the combustion chamber.
  3. Rebuild it. Assembly mode asks you to fit each part in the right order, with hints when you are stuck.

Take the human body apart, system by system.

The same gestures, a different model: organs come out of the body, and you can bring any of them up close.

The process

  1. Choose a system. Breathing, circulation, digestion, skeleton and more.
  2. Lift the organs out. Spread your hands and they separate from the body.
  3. Study one up close. In the video: the trachea and bronchi, opened to full size.

Build molecules from the periodic table.

The whole periodic table floats in front of you. It's a curated set of substances, not a physics simulator, and it is already large.

The process

  1. Pick an element. Pinch it straight out of the table.
  2. Combine in the right proportions. When the formula is right, a real substance forms in your hands.
  3. Keep going. From methane to isobutane, naphthalene and glucose.

06 / 06Generative form

Grow a living shape from a single drop.

A form inspired by the film Annihilation. It is not a hologram outline but a solid, glowing object that keeps changing.

The process

  1. Catch a drop. It appears between your palms.
  2. Let it bloom. The drop unfolds into a living, layered shape.
  3. Shape it. Every gesture changes its form and its colour.
